Service Matters proved to be an excellent partner in the organisation and delivery of our inaugural UnConvention at Caves House, Yallingup. We had hired the entire venue for the weekend with 130 guests and entrusted the smooth running of the event to Peter. He worked hard behind the scenes to ensure that everything ran smoothly and was our one point of contact for everything to do with the event. He managed suppliers, in house staff and oversaw the service for our gala ball and it all ran like clockwork. The last thing we wanted to be doing was worry about whether the event was going to go smoothly. The weekend was a great success and our thanks go to Peter for an outstanding job.

In 2009, my husband and I were celebrating our 70th and 60th birthdays respectively and to celebrate decided on a combined dinner party in our garden similar to a party we had given ten years earlier when we turned a combined 110! However, although I still wanted to prepare most of the food and plan most of the event myself, I decided to find a little more help this time round and was recommended to Service Matters. Peter and his team were fantastic ‐ from setting up of the tables, organising the wine and other drinks, running the bar, putting wonderful finishing touches to the food and its presentation as a buffet to their low key cleaning up throughout the evening.

I wanted this to be “my party”, and Peter and his team aided and assisted me to that end. Next time I may get them to do the lot!

Mustard Catering is part of the Spotless Group and is a major stadium and event caterer in Perth. We engaged Peter and Service Matters to help us out on a number of hospitality projects.

Peter developed and implemented a training program on customer service excellence for our wait staff servicing the corporate suites at Patersons Stadium in Perth. This was carried out successfully on site progressively over several months.

He also worked studiously on our awards submission comprising five entries into four categories of nominations for the prestigious Restaurant and Catering Industry Association (WA) Awards 2009.

I was impressed with Peter’s tremendous commitment to each of these projects and his outstanding attention to detail.
